Coming from a family of pastors, Kishore's mother had a profound commitment to God, mirroring the
biblical dedication, where Hannah vowed to present her son to the Lord,
“As soon as the child is weaned, I will bring him, so that he may appear in the presence of the Lord and
dwell there forever.”

Respecting his mother’s reverence and commitment, Mr. Kishore stood by her side, supporting their family's
devotional journey, willingly leaving his job in the police force. He recognized that by doing so, he was
not only honoring his mother's vows but also committed himself to a life of service to God. Mr. Kishore's
actions reflect a modern reflection of biblical devotion, showing personal sacrifice and unwavering
commitment to divine purpose.
It was a dream on the night of December 2nd, 2006, around 3 a.m. that ignited the spark in Mr.Kishore Kumar
Uppelli, the founder and president of Glow in Dark Ministries, to step out and spread Christ's love
through actions. In the dream, Jesus urged him to serve God by helping the needy and the poor, repeating a
verse from the Bible. Upon sharing his dream with his mother, she referenced 1 Chronicles 4:10, reminding him
that God is
broadening his path. She interpreted this as an invitation to actively spread the word of Christ and
assist those in need. Her message was clear: with God's blessings comes a calling to make a positive
impact in the lives of others.
He holds a Master’s degree in Divinity and has been on a mission for 17 years to reach the most
vulnerable in society, offering hope and happiness. To bring his vision to life, he assembled a team of
individuals dedicated to serving Jesus through actions, not just words. With the guidance of Christ's
teachings and the Holy Spirit, Mr. Kishore has served the unreached people in
India and beyond. His efforts have brought hope to widows, orphans, and elderly people emphasizing the
universal religion of humanity.
Mr. Kishore finds great joy in following Christ's teachings and creating a better world for those in need and
the helpless community. This passion led him to establish “Glow in Dark Ministries” dedicated to
serving
the marginalized and uplifting those who are less fortunate.
